Overview Reporting to the Global Controller, the International Controller will oversee financial operations across BNI’s international subsidiaries. This role is responsible for ensuring alignment with global accounting policies, leading system integration and financial process improvement initiatives, and maintaining a robust internal controls environment. The International Controller will also ensure compliance with local statutory and tax regulations, while supporting ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team. Position Description Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of accounting professionals across international markets. Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance financial accuracy and reduce the close timeline. Ensure financial transaction tagging aligns with the global budget structure and collaborate with budget owners to analyze variances between actual results and forecasts. Partner with the Global Controller and local accounting teams on ERP system implementations and enhancements. Provide guidance on technical accounting issues, entity structuring, and global financial policies. Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements across all international jurisdictions. Lead international audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors for global operations. Collaborate with the Global Controller and Legal team to maintain up-to-date transfer pricing documentation and ensure appropriate application to intercompany transactions. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred). Professional certification such as CPA, ACA, or ACCA required. Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role managing international accounting operations. Deep knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and local accounting standards across multiple countries. Proven experience with multinational consolidations, transfer pricing, and managing complex, multi-entity structures. Proficiency with financial systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. This is a full-time, exempt paid position.
