Our Client, a London headquartered global investment manager, is looking to strengthen their legal function with an experienced employment and benefits lawyer. The ideal candidate would be a well rounded corporate counsel and have 3-7 years PQE with a good practice background and a strong in-house secondment or in-house track record in a Tier 1 financial services environment, specialising in Employment & Benefits law.
Responsibilities
* Provide legal advice on all employment related matters
* Develop and implement employment policies and procedures
* Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
* Handle employment litigation matters
* Conduct internal investigations into employment matters
* Advise on disciplinary and grievance procedures
* Work closely with HR and management teams
Requirements:
* Strong academic track record
* Minimum 3 years' post qualified experience.
* Must be an England & Wales qualified solicitor
* Multi-jurisidictional experience highly desirable - particularly Ireland and Jersey
* Good in-house secondment in a recognised CIB or Asset Manager - or in-house position
* Must have the right to work in the UK - this role will not be sponsored
