About the Graduate Food Technologist job
Your role as Food Technologist will be to provide technical support by liaising regularly with both suppliers and customers on technical requirements.
Key tasks
* Conduct quality checks during production, maintain quality systems (e.g., HACCP, BRC), perform sensory evaluations, and assist with shelf-life testing.
* Develop and maintain food safety protocols, ensure regulatory compliance, support audits, and handle technical tasks like complaint logging and supplier approvals.
* Provide on-line technical support, document production trials, and stay updated on food technology trends and ingredient innovations.
* Liaise with customers on specifications, prepare technical documentation, and assist with product development from concept to launch, including process trials and capability testing.
About You
* The successful candidate shall possess a degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related discipline.
* Have a good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

The Graduate Food Technologist job (ref: 8816) is based in Fife, Scotland and is paying £24,000 to £27,000 per annum according to your experience.
The package includes pension with 4% employer contributions and 30 days annual leave.
The working hours are 38.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
The site is in Fife and is commutable from Edinburgh, Dunfermline, Cowdenbeath, Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy, and Cupar.
