Location: Poole
Salary: £29,000 per annum
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (40 hours per week)

City Centre Recruitment is seeking a Credit Controller to join a dynamic finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, a proactive approach, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service while effectively managing and collecting customer debts.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Act as the main point of contact for customer account queries
✅ Hold weekly meetings with sales divisions to discuss key issues
✅ Review new and existing accounts for creditworthiness and set appropriate credit limits
✅ Reconcile accounts, manage customer portals, and integrate with EDI systems
✅ Effectively manage and collect outstanding debts to maximise cash flow
✅ Resolve invoice and payment queries promptly and efficiently
✅ Issue customer statements, overdue reminders, and credit hold reports
✅ Build strong relationships with internal teams and external customers
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Essential Skills:
* Strong organisation and time management skills
* Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and accounting software
* Excellent customer service skills
* Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
* Self-motivated, resilient, and able to handle high workloads
* Professional and effective communicator (phone, email, and written)
✔ Desirable:
o Previous experience in a Credit Control role
o Understanding of distribution business processes
