Operations Manager - England Job Description
Here at BaxterStorey, we have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Operations Manager to oversee and manage a portfolio of established and new clients based in Central London. You will be responsible for all aspects of catering operations, including:
1. Planning
2. Logistics
3. Execution
4. Outstanding client relationship management
This is a pivotal role that requires excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as a keen eye for detail. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Maximising performance of the team through positive and effective leadership, combined with support and coaching.
2. Forming and maintaining a culture where individual and team development is encouraged and service standards are constantly reviewed and improved upon.
3. Achieving and improving all financial targets.
4. Ensuring all company and legislative Health & Safety requirements are met.
5. Ensuring security and safety of all staff, stock, and client premises.
6. Innovating and delegating to implementation.
7. Communicating confidently with senior management and at board level.
8. Identifying new opportunities and developing strategies for implementing them.
9. Delivering an excellent food offering which is continuously reviewed and challenged to ensure it meets customer expectations.
10. Using benchmarking to demonstrate superior performance throughout the operation, including continual improvement in all areas.
11. Ensuring budgets are achieved and exceeded at every opportunity.

Qualifications
1. Possess great organisation skills, exceptional communication skills and a proactive attitude.
2. Excellent understanding of report writing and financial management.
3. Full of energy and ideas that you can bring to our sites and our teams, encouraging them to be involved and motivated.
4. Successful progressive background in catering, hospitality, retail at the relevant level.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to devise and implement strategies to benefit both the company and the client.
6. Ability to display a real passion for food and customer service and to demonstrate your analytical approach to problem solving.
