The Role:
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to provide tax advice across a wide range of sectors and taxes. This role offers extensive training and support to help you develop your existing tax knowledge further. You must be CTA qualified, or ACA/ACCA qualified with a keen interest in studying towards CTA. Experience with corporate taxes is essential, and experience in other areas of tax is beneficial. Whether you’re currently working in an accounts/audit team with a strong interest in tax advisory or are already in a dedicated tax role, this position is for you.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Liaising and corresponding with HMRC regarding clearance applications, tax enquiries, etc.
2. Drafting reports and advisory letters on various tax matters
3. Preparing calculations to support tax advice
4. Engaging with clients and attending meetings with team members
5. Training and reviewing the work of junior staff members
6. Providing support to Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory Group
The Person:
We are looking for a candidate with a strong tax background, who possesses excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. CTA qualified, or ACA/ACCA qualified with a keen interest in studying towards CTA
2. Strong oral and written communication skills
3. Good IT skills and excellent teamwork abilities
4. Strong organisational skills, including monitoring timetables and budgets
5. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
6. A keen interest in learning and developing tax knowledge
