The new appointees are expected to have a broad-based dermatology background. The jobs are flexible, and have been structured to provide surgical sessions which may be inclusive of Laser surgery for those with expertise in this area. Additionally the job provides general dermatology, paediatric dermatology, skin cancerand other clinics according to sub-specialty areas of interest. It is expected that the post holders will have or will develop a subspecialty interest to complement the department and it is anticipated that the successful applicants will also have a well-developed interest in teaching, training and research. Applicants must be included on the GMCs Specialist Register in Dermatology, or within 6 months of their expected date of receipt of a CCT or CESR, at the time of interview.
