We are growing our Property Team with the addition of a Legal Officer within the Property, Place and Environment Legal team. This role is ideal for someone with some property law experience but with a keen interest to widen their skillset in connection with regeneration and land assembly to help shape our shopping and coastal destinations with the Bay.
Ideally, you will be a law graduate, or Graduate Legal Executives with some experience in property law, but we will consider candidates who have the right experience of advising/working in relation to conveyancing and real estate law within the UK without these qualifications.
You will be a flexible and committed team player with excellent communication and IT skills and be proficient to be able to support the senior regeneration lawyer with their varied and busy caseloads. In return, we offer a fast-paced and extremely rewarding career in a supportive environment whilst maintaining a healthy work life balance with the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis subject to the requirement to attend essential meetings.
Career development is something we are very passionate about and we are committed to building an exceptional in-house legal service, utilising our colleague's talents, and making the most of what they have to offer. For the right candidate, this is an excellent development opportunity to learn from an expert in this field, and to grow and develop your career in local government.
The Council is actively pursuing regeneration projects, creating exciting and challenging work for the ideal candidate and wider legal team. If you would like to be involved in helping to reinvigorate and shape the Bay, whilst developing your career, then please do not hesitate to apply.
