Macular disease is the biggest cause of sight loss in the UK, with around 300 people diagnosed every day. The Macular Society is the only charity determined to beat the fear and isolation of macular disease with world class research, and the best advice and support.
To support people affected by macular disease now, the Macular Society provides a range of support, information and services. Our research programme is focused on finding new treatments and a cure to Beat Macular Disease forever.
The People Coordinator will be working within our small, fast paced and friendly HR team, supporting us to deliver on our people plans. You will act as our first point of contact for a wide variety of operational people queries, adopting sound people practices to ensure we support our teams in line with our values. The role will also be responsible for the input and output of our HR database (Safe HR, previously known as Citrus HR), involving accurate data recording, reporting and analysis of key people trends.
If you have previous HR related experience and exceptional administration skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate in line with our value of Showing We Care then we would love to hear from you.
