Job Advert: Temporary Receptionist/Administrator Role Position: Receptionist/Admin Start Date: January 2025 Duration: Temporary role (6-12 weeks) Location: Brownhills, Walsall Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week Monday to Thursday: 8:15 am – 5:00 pm Friday: 8:15 am – 1:45 pm Rate: £13.00 per hour About the Role: We are seeking a professional and organized individual to join our team as a Temporary Receptionist/Admin Assistant. This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong ability to multitask. Key Responsibilities: - Customer Service: Provide a welcoming and professional reception service for visitors and clients, both in-person and via phone or email. - Front Desk Management: Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence; manage appointments and direct inquiries appropriately. - Administration: Support the team with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document management. - Accounts Support: Assist with basic invoicing and accounts-related tasks under the supervision of the accounts team. - Office Coordination: Maintain a tidy and efficient reception area, order supplies, and support the team with ad hoc tasks as needed. - Diary Management: Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments. Skills and Requirements: - Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is desirable. - Strong customer service and communication skills. - Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently. - A professional and friendly demeanor.
