Senior/Residential Support Worker Stoke on Trent (ST3) Salary from £30,198 (unqualified), £33,278 (Level 3 ) £36,358 (Team Leaders) Full Time Permanent We are currently recruiting for Residential Support Workers for existing and New services in Stoke on Trent, Newcastle under Lyme and Staffordshire. We are looking for unqualified, qualified (Level 3) staff and Team leaders. Person Specifications: Level 3 in Children’ and Young People’s Residential qualification - Desirable Good Communication Skills Good Numeracy and Literacy Skills Ability to work on owns initiative and as part of a team Have empathy, understanding and the attitude and values to meet the needs of the children/young people within the home Commitment to promoting the rights of the young person within the home Hold a full driving licence - Desirable Commitment to own personal and professional development Ability to advocate effectively on behalf of a young person Ability to effectively report and record using electronic data software (Mentor) Willingness to work in partnership with Children/Young People/Families and other Professionals Able to liaise effectively with other agencies and professionals Have flexible approach to work, location, duties and hours.
