This role has administrative responsibility for Procurement & logistics and general office work maintained in line with ongoing requirements. This role also involves other duties that might reasonably be requested to meet business requirements. The role reports into the Procurement Manager.

Responsibilities:
1. Liaise with warehouse team and book received goods in the system, in a timely manner.
2. Support Procurement Manager with sourcing new raw materials and packaging if required.
3. Conduct daily/weekly/monthly stock count and reconciliation for all raw materials held within the factory, investigating discrepancies as required.
4. Maintain raw material and packaging costs accurately on the system.
5. Request logistic quotes for new customer requirements.
6. Request required supplier approval documentation from new suppliers and chase if not provided on time.
7. Formulate all product sampling requests in a timely manner.
8. Undertake relevant project work as determined by the Managers linked to the business improvement plan.
Procurement and Logistics:
1. Maintain procurement schedules and update on a daily basis.
2. Raise purchase orders, ensuring accuracy.
3. Communicate any potential delays, supply, or product issues to the impacted teams.
4. Check suppliers can meet required delivery dates when no order confirmation is received.
Qualifications:
1. Analytical ability.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
3. At least 2 years FMCG experience ideally gained within the food industry.
4. Advanced IT skills, particularly with Excel (Pivot table, Hlookup, Vlookup, Indexmatch, etc.).
5. Methodical and diligent approach to working.
6. Excellent attention to detail.
7. Confident communicator both written and verbal.
8. Team player who is respectful and honest.
9. Ability to make decisions and use initiative.
10. Ability to cope with multiple tasks and priorities.
