Oaktree IT Solutions are seeking a motivated and proactive IT Support Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. As an apprentice in this role, you'll start building your understanding of networking concepts and gradually develop troubleshooting skills. You'll be an important part of our team, learning how to maintain IT infrastructure and assist users with support, all while gaining hands-on experience in a real-world setting. Also offering a fantastic starting salary of £17,500 - £20,000 this is a role that will not be around for long. In this role, youll work towards yourLevel 3 IT Support Apprenticeship,delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. A Typical Day in the Job: Provide first-line support for IT-related issues, including troubleshooting hardware and software problems. Assist users with connectivity issues related to LAN, TCP/IP, VPN, and other network configurations. Maintain and configure computer systems, including Mac OS and Linux environments. Utilise SCCM for software deployment and management across the organisation. Analyse system performance and recommend improvements or upgrades as necessary. Document support requests using the Remedy ticketing system to ensure effective tracking and resolution. Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance overall service delivery. Conduct regular maintenance checks on computer hardware to ensure optimal performance. Provide training and guidance to users on various software applications, including Microsoft Office. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
