The Academy CaretakerAcademy plays a key role in school. You will be working closely with other Caretakers, Hub Facilities Officers, and Headteachers to not only manage the security of our buildings, but to take a proactive role in the maintenance and management of our school sites.
You will be the first point of contact for staff regarding maintenance and you will therefore be very customer focused, polite and helpful. You will supervise a dedicated team of cleaning staff and you will have great interpersonal skills to support our schools in creating an outstanding learning environment for our pupils.
You will work with the Trust Building Surveyor and Trust Facilities Officer to ensure that our schools comply with all requirements of Health and Safety, risk management, and statutory testing, liaising with contractors and external agencies regarding the completion of both planned and reactive maintenance, and the day to day management of our buildings services, plant, and equipment to ensure our school sites are clean, safe, and provides pupils and staff with a great place to learn and work.
