Working hours: 20 hours per week (over 5 days, 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the late afternoon)

Sheffield Citadel Salvation Army is a vibrant busy Church. We have a busy programme supporting our mission to the community. We are recruiting a General Assistant to support the Corps (Church) in the efficient running of our building.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring the building is safe & tidy to support the running of the Corps (Church) Programme. This will include opening and closing the building. Operation of an alarm system, heating and basic admin duties. Light cleaning within the building is also required plus setting up and tidying up rooms as required. Some flexibility is required by the successful person.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
1. A basic knowledge of the following:
2. A heating system
3. Fire alarm
4. Basic IT skills relating to Wi-Fi connection to laptops
5. Use of a photo copier
6. Use of a dishwasher
7. Some working knowledge of minor repairs
8. Effective communication skills are required to interact in a professional yet friendly way to meet and greet customers to support the local mission.
