Domiciliary Manager
Location: Dartford
Salary: £40,000
As Manager, you will work closely with the services, risk assessing and overall quality managing the services in your remit, ensuring they are meeting the provider's high standards and all regulatory standards.
Client Management:
1. Promote the interests of our clients and provide a person-centred service.
2. Conduct home visits to prospective clients and carry out all duties required to commence care.
3. Responsible for increasing and maintaining occupancy/clients.
4. Provide clear information to all our clients and their representatives about our service.
5. Maintain confidentiality for clients, their families and our employees.
Knowledge and Understanding of:
1. The needs of people who require care and support at home.
2. Best practice with regard to providing high quality person-centred care, care for people with dementia, and end of life care.
3. The regulatory responsibilities of a Registered Manager.
Leading and Managing Staff:
1. Interview prospective care worker candidates and coordinate inductions for new staff.
2. Manage and coordinate training for all staff in collaboration with senior management.
3. Manage staffing levels to ensure sufficient numbers of suitably qualified staff.
The successful candidate will have the following skills, qualities and experience:
1. Passionate about care.
2. Knowledge of PCS software.
3. Local geographic knowledge of Medway, Gravesham and the surrounding areas.
4. Meticulous with auditing and paperwork.
5. Good attention to detail.
6. Previous experience improving quality.
This role would suit somebody who has worked as a Care Manager / Registered Manager for domiciliary care services.
