New Product Development Lead required by a UK charity, to drive product development in key
new markets they’ve identified. The charity focus on education for children.

Must be able to come into their London or Leeds office, twice a week.
THE ROLE
This role is at the forefront of developing innovative, holistic solutions that integrate physical products and resources with online tools. These include a hub for parents and carers, as well as training content. You will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing a three-year development plan, using a ‘test and learn’ approach to ensure that their offerings meet customer needs and deliver maximum impact for families.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategy and Leadership: Define and implement a three-year product development strategy, prioritising new subscription-based offerings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
* Product Development: Design and deliver innovative products that integrate physical and digital touchpoints, ensuring a seamless customer journey for families and practitioners.
* Process Innovation: Embed agile methodologies and rapid prototyping to accelerate development, test hypotheses, and reduce risks.
* Governance and Improvement: Establish robust project governance, ensure rigorous testing, and drive continuous product enhancements for measurable impact.
THE CANDIDATE
* Practical experience: Proven track record of using design thinking or human-centred design to develop products and services from concept to launch.
* Collaboration: Ability to secure buy-in and drive progress while fostering alignment across teams.
* Experience: Expertise in projects involving physical products, digital tools, and resources, with a focus on customer journey mapping.
* Innovation mindset: Strategic thinker with hands-on prototyping skills to embed innovative practices.
* Delivery-focused: Demonstrated success in launching new products or services in commercial, social enterprise, or nonprofit settings.
