An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Carmarthenshire Central Agency.
About the Role - Responsibilities
1. Acquire and maintain knowledge of National Farmers Union, NFU Mutual and NFU Mutual's General Insurance products, including product licences and competencies for your role as applicable.
2. Act on behalf of the NFU Branch Group Secretaries.
3. Maintain record keeping requirements for your role in accordance with NFU Mutual standards.
4. Perform other duties or projects as assigned by Agent / Senior Agent.
Prospecting
1. Research, plan, implement and monitor sales & marketing initiatives, including any central campaigns, across all business areas to build a pipeline for opportunities.
2. Identify, analyse and collate data relating to existing customers to generate prospects for General Insurance products and potential cross-selling opportunities for RMS and Financial Services sales.
3. Identify, analyse and collate data relating to generate prospects for National Farmers Union to recruit and retain members.
4. Generate publicity, including newsletters, advertising and attendance at shows and events to produce leads and enhance the reputation of NFUM and to protect the brand in its primary catchment areas in line with the local sales plan.
5. Plan and generate publicity for the Agency to raise profile and create opportunities, in accordance with NFU Mutual and NFU standards.
Selling
1. Review and advise (where appropriate) on customer general insurance requirements.
2. Review, evaluate and process the portfolio of existing customers to ensure retention, and the generation of new business to maintain compliant and profitable growth and expand the NFUM reputation for excellent service.
3. Identify and initiate cross-selling opportunities and activities to new and existing customers.
4. Identify, develop and generate leads for NFU Mutual propositions to target customers that are designed to meet their long term needs and enable compliant sales quality and advice standards and meet regulatory requirements to meet targets.
5. Record and track contacts, prospects and sales to maximise conversion ratio of leads to sales and provide a robust record of advice given and accurate efficient policy information.
6. Maintain own knowledge and skills to sell professionally and compliantly, delivering a consistently good experience to customers to meet the requirements and standards of NFU Mutual and our regulators.
Financial Services
1. Identify, develop and generate Financial Services leads from existing and new customers.
About you
1. Candidates will demonstrate drive, energy and enthusiasm required to promote a positive learning environment and sales culture.
2. Candidates will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at Grade C or above.
3. An understanding of agriculture would be beneficial but not essential.
4. Welsh speaking would be preferred but not essential.
