About Us
Our Governors, staff and pupils are seeking to appoint and welcome an experienced and dynamic leader to help us to build on our successes, address our challenges and ensure that our learners flourish.
St Julian’s School is an 11-18 school with 1417 students on roll, including a learning resource base, the Learning Development Centre which is a hugely important part of the school.
A highly skilled and effective Governing Body supports the school and its leadership team in all aspects of school life, helping nurture learning and development throughout the school and its community.
Our positive Estyn report in May this year remarked that:
“St Julian’s School holds true to its mission ‘A school for all, where everyone succeeds’. It is a highly inclusive community where staff focus wholeheartedly on pupils’ personal and academic development. There is a strong sense of teamwork and mutual respect in the school. Staff and pupils are proud to be part of the school community.”
We Are Committed to Appointing a Head Teacher Who:
1. Provides clear, inspirational ideas for raising educational standards and achievement in and across the school;
2. Promotes a strong and nurturing value base with aspirations for everyone;
3. Leads with strength, empathy and impact;
4. Encourages and creates the environment that enables effective teamwork;
5. Builds and maintains excellent stakeholder and partner relationships.
