Communitas Clinics is a provider of NHS community ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) and Dermatology services, operating across London and the South East of England. Patients are referred to our service by their GP, and appropriate referrals are then treated in community settings by specialist clinicians.
Communitas Clinics has grown organically from a small service operating in one London borough to an organisation serving a population of over 6 million. And we are still growing! Communications currently sits within the Service Development department, but we are in the process of developing a standalone Communications function that is integrated with all departments.
We are looking for a creative, curious, proactive communications professional who is comfortable in planning and delivery with experience of evaluation to join our team as a Communications Manager. The successful candidate will support the Head of Communications to develop the organisation's communication functions and lead on the day-to-day management of key internal and external communications activities.
Main duties of the job
* Support across our diverse portfolio of internal and external communications projects, social media, crisis handling, and media.
* Plan, deliver, and coordinate a wide range of activities, turning creative ideas from the internal teams into effective communications with measurable results - helping us to become a better employer and improve the patient experience.
* Work closely with the Head of Communications to support the delivery of internal and external communication campaigns to promote organisational culture, excellence in service delivery, and recruitment.
* Lead on the development and delivery of all internal communications projects.
* Develop and create corporate communications materials, working with and managing external agencies where necessary.
