ECT's are encouraged to apply. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Proven experience teaching English at secondary school level. Strong subject knowledge with the ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. A passion for education, with a commitment to driving pupil progress and attainment. A proactive approach to ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning. Role Responsibilities: Create and deliver engaging and stimulating English lessons, tailored to the individual needs of students. Plan and implement a curriculum that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and a love for reading and writing. Monitor and assess students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and senior staff. Use innovative teaching strategies to motivate and challenge pupils, helping them reach their full potential. Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the school's wider academic and extracurricular programmes. Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment, adhering to the school's behaviour policies. Support the school with pastoral care and actively participate in safeguarding duties.
