Male Teaching Assistant Primary School South East London
We are looking for an experienced Male Teaching Assistant (TA) who aspires to work within an SEN environment. As a Male Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting students in a classroom at one of the leading schools in London. The reason for needing a Male Teaching Assistant is that the student is a Year 3 child who sometimes has moderate behaviour problems. The role will require someone who is enthusiastic about supporting pupils, especially those with complex needs. Some aspects of the role can be challenging and will require you to use initiative and have a creative approach to teaching.

Contract: Full time
Rate: £95 - £110 Per Day

Ideal Candidate:
* Supervising and supporting pupils
* Assisting in the development of appropriate resources, schemes of work, and teaching strategies
* Supporting with behaviour management
* Undertaking structured and agreed learning activities/teaching programmes, adjusting activities to ensure achievement of learning goals
* Assisting with the supervision of children out of lesson times, such as playtime and lunchtime duty
* Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all children, supporting differences and ensuring that all have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.
Requirements:
* Experience of working directly with young people in an education or training environment, supporting the learning of students.
* Some basic knowledge of SEND and learning barriers.
* Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
* Bachelor's degree (Education Studies, Psychology, or Sports Degrees are welcome)
