We have a unique role open for a new Trainee Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to work within a busy, automated warehouse in Rugby.
This role involves simple preventative maintenance of conveyors (replacing rollers, drive bands, etc.) as well as other maintenance tasks around the site such as painting, changing lights, hanging doors, and repairing damaged racking.
Think of it as a triage role where you deal with quick fixed repair work; however, anything more technical (such as an electrical fault) would require calling out an electrician or a service engineer for a FLT.
There will be extensive on-the-job training, allowing you to absorb knowledge as you learn.
Working hours are Monday to Friday (Apply online only), but there may be times when you need to come in outside of normal work hours to address urgent issues.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in maintenance, even if they do not yet have formal qualifications, and wants to break into this field. You should be confident with hand and power tools, mechanically minded, physically fit, and possess a lot of common sense.
