Key Responsibilities of the Geography Teacher: Deliver high-quality lessons in Geography to students at various levels. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment. Participate in curriculum development for Geography and contribute ideas for improvement. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create cross-curricular opportunities related to Geography. Organise and oversee extracurricular activities, field trips, or geography clubs. Foster student's understanding of geography's role in addressing global challenges. Key Skills and Qualifications: Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong knowledge of Geography and the ability to teach across key stages. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for geography and a commitment to student success. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Experience teaching Geography in secondary education is desirable but not essential.
