The Marketing Manager Role
To support our company growth objectives through the marketing of the full range of My Language Connection’s services with the objective of supporting the build of the brand and achieving and exceeding the company’s sales and growth targets. Working to help MLC achieve its mission of delivering 6,000 high quality projects by our 10th birthday in 2027, adhering to our core values:

A core element of this role will involve managing our marketing agency partner and developing a freelance team to support the long-term strategy of MLC. The candidate must work well with other departments and will be a core team player working closely with your Line Manager, the Founder and Managing Director of MLC and our sales team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing Skills:
* Oversee and deliver on 80 + qualified interested leads per month through lead generation and agency management within MLC’s key niche industries.
* Day to day management of all marketing activities supporting marketing and sales to drive new business leads and market to existing clients with a view of strengthening and further developing partnerships via various marketing channels internally and externally managing agency partners and freelancers to deliver.
* Thinking of and suggesting ways in which we can innovate to support MLC being recognised as a leading boutique high quality Language Services Provider (LSP).
Management Skills:
* Management of the performance and delivery of results to ensure MLC reaches its sales and marketing targets in line with our marketing strategy that supports our aforementioned mission and vision.
* Oversight and organisation of client events and exhibitions – round tables/panels/webinars/podcasts and organisation of key exhibitions alongside relevant sales team members and MD.
* Market research into the ROI of networking events and events for MLC reporting to our Managing Director.
* Management of agency partners and synthesising key insights and information for our Managing Director.
* Ability and experience in growing and managing a marketing team – in house and/or with freelancers.
* Delivering marketing outputs on time and on budget, reporting regular updates to the Managing Director during weekly 1-2-1 meetings.
* Monitoring ongoing campaigns spend against budget to ensure they are delivering as effectively and efficiently as possible at all times.
Preferred Experience:
* Technically strong, understanding of the marketing mix right the way through to leveraging data in marketing and overseeing the responsibility of the delivery of high quality results across the marketing team.
* 3 to 5 years experience within the LSP industry is preferred.
* 5 years experience in Marketing Management.
* Management, technical and operational experience with a proven record of achieving results and generating high quality leads in line with a company's mission.
