Paramount Personnel is seeking a talented and experienced Head Pastry Chef for our client, an award winning Hotel set within the Barnstaple, Devon area.
The successful head pastry chef will have a background of operating in a pastry chef capacity, from either a fine dining/rosette background. You will have excellent team leadership qualities, with an impeccable attention to detail. Using only the finest ingredients, operating at rosette level, it is vital the successful candidate has a background from a fine dining Hotel/restaurant.
Head Pastry Chef responsibilities include:
* Creating and developing innovative pastry menus, including desserts, breads, and other pastry-based dishes.
* Leading and training the pastry team, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency.
* Managing inventory and ordering supplies.
* Collaborating with the Head Chef and other junior chefs.
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
On offer will be a competitive salary of £40,000, live-in availability, share of tronc plus opportunities for professional growth and development.
