Job Title: Operations Specialist (Maternity Leave Cover)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Specialist to cover a maternity leave for a fixed-term contract in Aberdeen. This role is crucial in managing and processing billing and invoicing within the Upstream Chemicals product line, ensuring accuracy and timely execution of tasks. The successful candidate will also support other administrative duties, requiring strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Billing and Invoicing: Manage and process most aspects of billing and invoicing within the Upstream Chemicals product line. Ensure all transactions are executed accurately and on time.
* Operational Support: Maintain efficient day-to-day operations by supporting various administrative tasks as needed, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to processes.
* Communication: Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills to maintain effective relationships with internal customers and stakeholders.
* Software Proficiency: Use and maintain proficiency in software applications, including MS Office, email, and web browsers. Prior experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is required.
* Problem Solving: Apply basic troubleshooting skills to resolve issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
* Process Improvement: Demonstrate a strong drive for excellence by being motivated, process-driven, and focused on achieving results.
Qualifications:
* Experience:
o Prior experience in operations, billing, or invoicing roles.
o Experience with SAP or another ERP system is required.
* Skills:
o Strong organizational and administrative skills.
o Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
o Proficiency in MS Office applications and other software tools.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Problem-solving abilities with a focus on maintaining efficient operations.
