Temporary Material Planner (12-Month Contract)

Are you an experienced Material Planner ready to step into a fast-paced, dynamic role?
We’re hiring on behalf of a global leader in energy and innovation for a 12-month temporary contract in Sudbury. Join a team of seven other material planners and play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage relationships with electronics and PCB suppliers to ensure materials meet production demands.
* Support the team with design change management processes to align with evolving project requirements.
* Analyse and improve processes, identifying and implementing efficiencies to enhance operations.
* Maintain data accuracy and operational efficiency using SAP, Oracle, or equivalent MRP packages.
* Generate reports and provide insights using the Power BI tool.
* Handle the operational demands of material planning, assisting with data management and administrative tasks.
Experience/ Skillset Requirements:
* Proven experience working with electronics and PCB suppliers.
* Familiarity with design change management in a manufacturing or operational environment.
* Strong knowledge of Power BI and experience using SAP/Oracle (or other MRP systems).
* An analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement.
* Ability to thrive under pressure in a high-demand environment.
