The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Group PC&A Engineer, you'll support our multi-skilled engineering team in maintaining high standards across the site. You'll lead and participate in projects that drive process improvements, optimise systems, and ensure high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform safety-compliant work with machinery, systems, and chemicals.
Maintain and update CMMS records with detailed information.
Rectify PLC and system faults, identifying root causes.
Create and update PLC programs and manage system software backups.
Carry out planned maintenance (PM) and breakdown support within deadlines.
Redesign and modify plant and machinery to maximize output.
Lead and participate in individual or team projects.
Analyze performance data to align PM schedules with operational history.
Develop bespoke systems and controls where required.
Ensure hazardous area requirements are met, including COMPEX standards.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and share learnings to improve processes.

Essential Qualifications:
HNC in Engineering or equivalent with relevant industrial experience.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven PLC programming and fault-finding skills (Ladder Logic, C+, Structured Text).
Experience with vision control systems.
Desirable Qualifications:
HND/Foundation Degree in Engineering.
CAD and project management experience.
Hazardous Areas COMPEX 1-4 qualification.
