E-ppl we are leading suppliers of Managed Services within the automotive industry. Working with the main OEMs within the UK and overseas. We are a specialist contractor who OEM's call on to support their vehicle projects. This can range from carefully planned and executed launch support projects through to very reactive quality campaigns. All our projects are fully managed offering a turn-key solution to our customers.
We are seeking skilled and experienced Automotive sheet metal workers to work with our customers building bespoke vehicles. You will cut and rivet sheet metal and apply heat treatment. The sheet metal will be finished by joining, filing, sanding and smoothing it down. You will use electrical and gas welding techniques to join soft steel of different thickness.
Requirements
The role requires hands on operatives for the conversion of vehicles requiring:
• Chassis fitting
• Sheet Metal Work
• Working to engineering drawings
• Accurate sheet metal forming
• Working with sheet metal, cutting and forming
• Use hand tools and power tools
• Some heavy steel work may be required
• Welding works
• Bespoke one-off products to specification required
• Welding - Fabrication - Vehicle Electrics - Joinery
• Person with other skills qualifications relevant to vehicle renovation
• Shape sheet metal over anvils, blocks, or custom forms, ensuring accurate dimensions and smooth finishes
• Work in accordance with all company health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
• Inspect, assemble, and smooth seams and joints of welded, brazed, or burred surfaces for a flawless product
• Set up and operate fabricating machines and hand tools to cut, bend, and straighten metal materials

Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am - 1.00pm
Paid limited company or via umbrella company - Outside of IR35
£20 per hour
