I’m working with a fantastic, friendly team based just south of Bristol, and they’re looking for someone like you—an experienced, motivated engineer ready to hit the ground running.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to join a close-knit building services consultancy known for delivering a wide range of exciting projects across new builds and refurbishments in all types of buildings. What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be a key part of the engineering team, bringing your technical know-how and leadership to a range of UK-based building services projects. You should be confident working across RIBA stages and managing the full project life cycle—from initial surveys to site inspections and project completion.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Leading mechanical services design on a wide range of projects
Liaising directly with clients and external teams (architects, structural engineers, contractors, surveyors)
Preparing project documentation, reports and specifications
Overseeing installation, commissioning, and contractor supervision
Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
Supporting junior team members in their technical and professional development
Contributing to sustainable design solutions and compliance with legislation and H&S requirements

Proven experience in mechanical building services engineering (senior level)
Strong track record delivering UK projects
Familiarity with RIBA work stages and associated duties
Confident communicator and team player
Able to manage multiple projects and workstreams effectively
