Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement active travel infrastructure, including cycleways and footways, in accordance with LTN 1/20 guidelines.
2. Conduct feasibility studies and traffic assessments for active travel projects.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders, including local authorities and community groups, to ensure project alignment with local needs and regulations.
4. Provide technical support and guidance on active travel and sustainable transport solutions.
5. Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
6. Ensure all projects comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in traffic engineering, with a focus on active travel, cycleway, and footway design.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of LTN 1/20 and its application in active travel projects.
3. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
5. Flexibility to commute to the office 2 days a week (hybrid working model).
