Job summary
The focus of the role will be to deal with commissioning and procurement issues, administration and sourcing of appropriate placements for patients, to maintain accurate records and support all aspects of work within the Adult Continuing Healthcare team (CHC).
You will liaise with CHC and ICB staff, Hospital Clinicians and Managers and Continuing Care Providers on a daily basis and provide full administrative support to the Commissioning Manager for Adult Continuing Care.

Knowledge, Training and Experience
Essential
1. Educated to NVQ 3 level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience
2. Significant administrative/ secretarial experience including initiating and maintaining office systems
3. Demonstrable experience in dealing with the public and dealing with sensitive and confidential
4. Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access

5. Clear communicator with excellent writing, data entry and presentation skills
6. Ability to work under pressure in a busy working environment and able to multi-task
