Full Time - 37.5 hours
An opportunity has arisen to recruit a full-time receptionist to be part of a busy emergency department.
This post involves working a mixture of days, nights, weekends, and weekday shifts. The service is covered 365 days a year (including bank holidays).

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the booking in of all front door and ambulance patients that enter the emergency department.
Additional duties include:
* Booking in ambulance and walk-in patients
* Liaising with relatives in person and over the phone

Qualifications
* GCSE English Grade A-C or Equivalent
* GCSE Mathematics Grade A-C or Equivalent
* IT Qualification Grade A-C or Equivalent
Experience
* Experience of close liaison with members of the multidisciplinary team
* Able to deal with a steady flow of work and sudden episodes of influx of work
* Experience of using multiple Microsoft office software systems
* Non-judgmental when dealing with the public
* Able to relate to the general public calmly and in a professional manner
* Previous relevant experience in a similar role
