The position We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Internal Communications Lead to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the company’s internal communications by collaborating closely with key business partners, including IT, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Finance, and Compliance. Your efforts will help align communication strategies across RES, ensuring that messaging is clear, consistent, and effectively supports the company’s goals and culture. Accountabilities
1. Develop and execute internal communication strategies and campaigns in partnership with key business partners.
2. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, building strong relationships and providing communication support for critical initiatives.
3. Translate complex business information into clear, compelling communications for a range of internal audiences.
4. Act as key point of contact for Group safety initiatives and campaigns,
5. Drive internal engagement by developing content that supports our strategy, our vision, change initiatives, and business updates.
6. Work closely with the Global Head of Internal Communications to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment with broader communication goals.
7. Manage multi-channel communication strategies measuring the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
8. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in internal communications, recommending improvements where necessary.
9. Support the lookahead of internal content across RES, proactively identifying needs of key business partners.
10. Create communications that deliver against the Group HSQE Strategy and Communications Plan.
11. Lead the execution and communication of the Global Safety Day.
12. Manage the production of materials working with our in-house design, video editor or other content creators to deliver high quality work within deadlines.
13. Enhance communications and engagement for site-based colleagues considering appropriate channels and messaging.
14. Create materials for leaders to share with their teams including briefing notes and scripting suggestions.
15. Regularly meet with others involved with internal communications across the Group to ensure good visibility of plans and collaboration with others.
16. Help deliver quality by reviewing and drafting policies and procedures using clear and understandable language.
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications
17. Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
18. Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
19. Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
20. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
21. Proven project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
22. Experience with digital communication platforms and tools (., intranets, collaboration platforms).
23. High level of emotional intelligence, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
24. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
