We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team in managing financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial services and be proficient in various accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks.
Role Description
* Ledger Reconciliation:Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
* Compliance:Ensure strict adherence to internal accounting procedures and regulatory requirements, including VAT returns.
* Bank Management:Oversee bank account management, including reconciliations and transaction monitoring.
* Financial Analysis:Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business planning and strategy.
* Quality Control:Review your own work meticulously to identify and correct any errors, ensuring the highest level of accuracy.
* Month-End Close:Assist in the month-end closing process, working under strict deadlines to ensure timely reporting.
* Intercompany Reconciliation:Perform complex intercompany reconciliations, ensuring consistency and accuracy across entities.
Qualifications
* Credit Control and Finance skills
* Petty Cash and Accounting skills
* Strong communication skills
* Experience in financial management
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Knowledge of VAT filing regulations
* Proficiency in accounting software
* Relevant certification in Finance or Accounting
