Job summary Castlefields Health Centre is looking to expand its HCA team by employing a full time Health Care Assistant. We are a busy General Practice situated in the heart of the Castlefields Estate in Runcorn, Cheshire. The successful candidate will join an existing team of HCAs, so you will have plenty of support Your day to day role will see you managing your own clinics, going out on home visits as well as assisting the GPs in a variety of other patient facing clinics we have here at the Health Centre. Main duties of the job You will see a variety of patients in your clinics and during home visits. Some (but not all) of your duties will be chronic disease monitoring (for QOF), ECGs, BPs, weight monitoring, new patients medicals, Health Check assessments, INRs, assisting GPs in minor surgery clinics, IUD/contraceptive implant clinics, six week baby clinics, chaperoning GPs when required to do so.
