Job Overview
TalentBoard is looking for a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our educational team, supporting primary, secondary, and SEND settings across Liverpool. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching or an equivalent certification, be enthusiastic about working with children and young people, and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in roles such as Teaching Assistant, Sports Coach, Nursery Nurse, or Youth Worker is highly desirable. Responsibilities
* Support the lead teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons tailored to individual student needs.
* Provide assistance to children with special educational needs, ensuring full participation in classroom activities.
* Help manage classroom behavior by promoting positive interactions and implementing effective strategies.
* Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and staff about student progress and any concerns.
* Prepare and organize classroom materials to enhance learning experiences.
* Ensure a safe and clean environment for all students during lessons and activities.
* Assist with personal care tasks when needed, maintaining the dignity and comfort of each child.
Qualifications
* A Level 3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching or an equivalent certification.
* Knowledge of special education practices and strategies for supporting children with diverse needs is advantageous.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with students and staff.
* A genuine passion for educating and supporting the development of young learners.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating initiative when required.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with students of varying abilities.
