What we're looking for A Level 3 Early Years qualification (or higher) is essential. Proven senior experience within a nursery, with a strong understanding of EYFS standards. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. A proactive, compassionate, and creative approach to early years education. A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being and development. Key Responsibilities Support the Nursery Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and policies. Lead and mentor the team, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high-quality care and education. Develop and implement engaging activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that supports children's emotional, social, and physical development. Build strong relationships with parents, acting as a key point of contact for communication and collaboration. Assist with administrative duties, including staffing, budgeting, and maintaining accurate records. Take charge in the Manager's absence, ensuring continuity and high standards of care.
