As a Senior Care Assistant, your role is crucial to our home. You will not only drive the Care Assistants who deliver high-quality personal care to our residents but also inspire, develop, and nurture them to be their best every day.
We’ll train you on all aspects of our new digital care, which is transforming how we work, making things easier and letting you focus on clinical excellence and care for our residents. You’ll help us make health happen by:
* Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit
* Supporting with clinical duties, including observing, issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and accurate record keeping
* Driving and managing a team of Care Assistants, including being responsible for all shift handovers
* Helping with training and supervision of new staff members
* Building relationships with residents, their families, and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses
* Assisting residents with a range of personal care duties
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
* You’ll have completed or be working towards an NVQ3 in care. We’re more than happy to support you in the completion of your qualification if needed.
* You're motivated, positive, and possess great interpersonal skills, enjoying working in a close-knit team.
* You have previous experience of the role and knowledge of its rewards and challenges, with a passion for making a real difference in people’s lives.
