As part of our fast-paced manufacturing team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality electrical assemblies, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and working on cutting-edge prototype development.
Key Responsibilities - Your Impact
1. Electrical Loom Assembly: Precisely assemble electrical looms based on schematic drawings and technical instructions.
2. Technical Expertise: Work closely with BoMs, ensuring correct components are used while maintaining stock control of electrical consumables.
3. Prototype Development: Collaborate with the Electrical Design team to build and refine electrical and electro-mechanical sub-systems.
4. Process Optimisation: Support lean manufacturing principles and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
5. Performance & Quality Focus: Work alongside the Team Leader to meet KPI-driven production targets, ensuring every output meets the highest standards.
6. Problem-Solving & Diagnostics: Apply electrical theory and electronic principles to diagnose and rectify faults in sub-systems.
What You Need to Succeed
1. Proven experience in low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing techniques and processes.
2. Deep understanding of OEM automotive vehicle systems and their integration.
3. Knowledge of military specification radios and electrical sub-systems (or equivalent).
4. Awareness of electromagnetic influences on electrical sub-systems and networks.
