This business is going through change. We placed the new Operations Director to do exactly that. He has identified the need for more technical oomph (not a technical term) hence this newly created position.
Heading up a team of 11 which includes Technical/NPD Manager, QSM, Spec Tech, Technologists and QAs, you’ll redefine the technical strategy to align with the growth plans for the business. It’s a hands-on role, you’ll be customer-facing, visiting suppliers in Europe on a regular basis – ice cream tasting in Italy anyone? Products are also sourced from Spain and Portugal, where the latter is also home to one of their sister sites.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you’ll impact company growth through strong customer influence and an innovative technical strategy. Manufacturing yoghurts, drinks, soups, and desserts, with dairy-free and plant-based alternatives too requires a breadth of technical and micro knowledge across chilled categories.
You’ll be a natural and influential leader, motivating and inspiring with a carrot rather than a stick. Your influencing skills will also carry over to customer relations with key retailer technical contacts.
