Teaching Personnel is recruiting a skilled and reliable Cover Supervisor to work at one of our partner secondary schools starting in January. About the Role: Start Date: January 2024 Contract: Full-time or part-time (flexible to suit your availability) Pay Rate: £85–£110 per day (depending on experience) Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects during teacher absences. Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment, ensuring students stay on task and meet lesson objectives. Uphold the school’s behaviour policies, managing classroom behaviour effectively and professionally. Support students’ learning by addressing queries and providing encouragement. Work collaboratively with staff to ensure continuity and support across the school. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar educational support role. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students across different age groups and abilities. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive and adaptable approach. A genuine passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact on students' learning. Previous experience in secondary schools is essential; familiarity with safeguarding and school policies is advantageous. Why Join Us?
