Job Advertisement: Mathematics Teacher (Part-time and Full-time) Location: Attleborough Contract: Part-time (3 days per week) until Easter, Full-time from 22nd April to 22nd July 2025 Working Hours: Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (08:15 AM - 03:30 PM); Full-time from 22nd April 2025 (08:15 AM - 03:30 PM) Role Overview: Part-time (3 days per week): From now until Easter (Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 08:15 AM to 03:30 PM). Full-time: From April 22nd to July 22nd, 2025 (Monday to Friday, 08:15 AM to 03:30 PM). Start Date: As soon as possible. End Date: July 22nd, 2025. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students in Key Stages 3 & 4 (ages 11-16). Plan and prepare lessons in line with the school curriculum, ensuring a structured, engaging, and differentiated approach to teaching. Mark student work regularly, providing constructive feedback to promote improvement. Assess student progress, track attainment, and implement strategies to support students at different levels of ability. Create a positive and motivating classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for Mathematics. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency across the Mathematics department and share best practices. Provide additional support to students who need extra help, ensuring that all students are challenged and supported in their learning. Participate in departmental meetings, contribute to curriculum planning, and engage in professional development opportunities. The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3 & 4. A clear commitment to delivering high-quality lessons, with strong planning and marking skills. Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. Excellent organisational skills, particularly in managing lesson planning, marking, and assessment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
