About the job Leadership of cross-functional teams to execute new product or territory launches, supply chain development projects, technology/site transfers for products manufactured via external service providers, as well as a range of compliance & business continuous improvement initiatives. To provide technical leadership & support during new product introductions, evaluation of new business opportunities and when investigating/resolving challenges in the manufacturing/supply chain for Otsuka’s new & existing Job Description •Leadership & support of a range of Supply Chain & Technical Projects & initiatives to support Otsuka’s European Business Operations, including: -Evaluation of scope, resource requirements, budget, business case & schedules for project & initiatives, -Establishing & leading cross-functional project teams comprising internal & external sub ject matter experts -Development and monitoring detailed project plans, highlighting critical paths, key milestones & external dependencies. -Providing direction & management to ensure that projects are consistently delivered on time and within budget -Project sponsors & stakeholders management – development of a consistent & concise approach to reporting updates at all levels within the organisation. •Leading supply chain & technical work streams to support the registration & commercialisation of new product & territory launches •Designing & Implementing systems & methodologies to ensure an efficient, consistent & transparent approach to projects. •Mentoring colleagues to bring through the next generation of Otsuka Project Leaders •Taking part in strategy planning for the Supply Chain & Technical Operations team Leadership & Behavioural Competencies for this position are: •Act with integrity at all times – do the right thing, not necessarily the easy thing •Self-starter who is able to effectively manage multiple complex work streams with limited supervision in areas of ambiguity •Able to structure unorganised information into clear and actionable work plans •Able to synthesise messages and communicate actionable insights to a variety of stakeholders •Able to deliver high-level to detailed-level status reports on project progress •Strong analytical and team skills with the ability to see interconnections and correlations between activities, people and work streams, and to understand the implications on the business Functional & Technical Competencies for this position are: •Highly proficient with Microsoft Project Online, Microsoft Project and other Microsoft software packages •Working knowledge of pharmaceutical product launces, product development cycles, regulatory and other business processes/technical knowledge (related to the project) as required •Strong project management skills. For example: -Monitoring and controlling budgets -Planning the use of people and resources to meet deadlines -Communicating with impact Qualifications/Experience •Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or related discipline. •5 years of Supply Chain & Technical Operations experience in an equivalent senior role within the Pharma Industry. •Broad knowledge of pharmaceutical development, licensing & commercialisation process, including GxP Compliance, Regularly Affairs, Supply Chain/External Manufacturing & Distribution. •Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certifications are not essential but would be great to have We Offer: Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
