Personal Assistant to Urgent Care Leadership Team
The Urgent Care Division is looking to appoint a competent and experienced Personal Assistant to provide a first-class PA service to the Chief of Urgent Care and administrative support to the Urgent Care leadership team. The post holder will work closely with the other PA within the team.
We are seeking someone with excellent administrative and secretarial skills, high-quality written and verbal skills, and an ability to communicate effectively at all levels within our large organisation and external stakeholders, as well as being highly proficient in the use of IT systems and Microsoft Office software.
Main Duties of the Job
You should have significant experience of supporting management at a senior level, be able to prioritise a heavy workload whilst remaining calm under pressure, confident in undertaking minutes from a variety of meetings, and possess a high standard of organisational skills.
The role is primarily based cross-site (Eastbourne District General Hospital and Conquest Hospital); the postholder will be required to work at either site and will be allocated one site as the main base, likely to be Eastbourne. Previous NHS experience is desirable although not essential.

Qualifications
* Educated to GCSE level C or equivalent, with Maths and English
* RSAIII typing / word processing or proven equivalent level of skill
* ECDL or equivalent computer qualification
* NVQ3/4 / diploma level business administration qualification or equivalent experience
* Shorthand 50wpm
Experience
* Significant experience of supporting at Senior Manager level in a large organisation
* Recent proven NHS experience in a responsible administrative role
* Staff supervision
* Maintaining records and databases
* Experience of project and audit work
