Content Designer
You will be working on a key client account to make their services and information simpler, clearer, and faster for their business and customers. We are seeking a content design specialist who writes high-quality, user-focused content and has experience working as part of a large team to implement technology solutions. You will need to demonstrate your methods, a sharp focus on user needs, and team collaboration. You’ll need to be able to:
1. Take complex language and processes and make them simple to understand.
2. Make the case for user-focused design.
3. Exhibit great presentation and client management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create, edit, and optimize content for the corporate website, ensuring it aligns with brand guidelines.
2. Conduct content audits and develop content strategies to improve information architecture and user experience.
3. Ensure all content is accessible, inclusive, and adheres to best practices in web content design.
4. Utilize metrics and user feedback to define and improve content.
5. Maintain and update content guidelines to ensure consistency across all digital platforms.
6. Collaborate within UCD teams, with UX designers, researchers, and UI designers.
7. Work with content publishing systems.
8. Present and defend content design decisions to internal and external stakeholders.
9. Manage relationships with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
1. Several years of experience in content design, with a portfolio showcasing your work on various projects.
2. Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Miro, Jira, and Azure DevOps.
3. Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Design, or a related field is preferred.
7. Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines.
8. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
