Job Description:
Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR who are a leading global engineering, construction, and services company.
KBR support the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents. Serving their customers through diverse business units, KBR offer challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.
KBR are looking to recruit Building Surveyors (Condition) x5 on 12 month contracts. These roles are nationally based.

Purpose of the Role:
Reporting to the Senior Technical Lead, you will predominantly be in the field surveying the client’s estate whilst managing a program of surveys capturing the condition of buildings and assets.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Carry out condition structural surveys on Building Fabric in various types of properties.
2. Assess the likelihood and extent of Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC) in buildings.
3. Maintain accurate records of all site visits including an accurate programme of surveys scheduled and attended.
4. The potential to capture assets and their attributes and condition on Mobiess software on a mobile device (iPad), if required.
5. Provide input on advice to the client for asset replacement of building elements and systems.
6. Attend project meetings and participate in working groups or departmental meetings as required.
7. Be able to assess asset condition quickly and reasonably without intrusive or invasive inspections.
8. Identify all critical plant equipment for running the site(s).
9. Update systems with data to provide accurate and concise reports to the client.
10. Ad-hoc duties as may be deemed necessary.
Skills - ESSENTIAL:
1. A proven track record of undertaking building condition surveys and structural conditioning.
2. Experience or knowledge of Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC) - Structural surveys.
3. Demonstrable experience of utilising mobile data capture and reporting tools.
4. Experience of working in commercial or government asset portfolios including infrastructure.
5. Proven track record in working in a team.
6. Good interpersonal skills.
7. Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with people at all levels.
8. IT literacy, including a demonstrable working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
9. An eye for detail.
Skills - DESIRABLE:
1. Experience in planning programmes of work for forward works and lifecycle management.
2. Ability to accurately record M&E asset and fabric condition.
3. Knowledge of asset maintenance requirements.
4. Experience in working in a secure environment.
5. Knowledge of KyKloud and/or Mobiess software (training can be given).
6. Experience or knowledge of Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC) - Structural surveys.
Qualifications - ESSENTIAL:
1. A bachelor’s degree in building surveying or approved RICS accredited degree.
2. Hold or eligible for security clearance levels Etc, Enhanced DBS clearance, CTC, SC, BPSS and CTC clearances.
