This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing and developing our community-based services in line with the hospice’s strategic objectives and values. About the Role As the Head of Community Services, you will provide leadership and management across a range of hospice community services, including the Clinical Nurse Specialist team, domiciliary care services, wellbeing initiatives, and future outreach programs. You will work closely with the Director of Clinical Services to ensure that the hospice meets the needs of patients and their families, particularly in community settings. You will lead and manage multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. Maintain and develop collaborative partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders. Ensure clinical governance, audit processes, and data collection meet statutory and organisational standards. Champion excellence in palliative care, ensuring that services meet the needs of the local community. Actively contribute to the development and implementation of the hospice's overarching strategy. About You You will hold a current and valid professional registration. Have extensive experience in a senior palliative care role, with direct people management experience. Hold proven experience in service development, resource management, and change management.
