We now have an opportunity for a full-time Accounts Assistant to join the team.
As Accounts Assistant, you will be required to support the day-to-day running of our busy finance department.
The focus of this role will be purchase ledger and credit control, with additional support to sales ledger, reporting to the Finance Manager.
We are looking for someone who is minimum AAT Level 3 qualified, with access to company-funded further training available.
Salary: £26k-£28k
Main duties:
1. Raising sales invoices/coding sales invoices
2. Raising quotations
3. Obtaining purchase orders
4. Data entry
5. Chasing overdue debtors
6. Aged debtor reporting
7. Dealing with queries
8. Self-billing customer reconciliation
9. Setting up new suppliers
10. Raising purchase orders
11. Approving supplier invoices
12. Allocating supplier payments/sending remittance advice
13. Office stationery ordering
14. Ordering and issuing site equipment
15. Ordering and managing stock of uniform
16. Dealing with expense forms
17. Provide general support to senior staff
Requirements:
1. Minimum Level 3 AAT qualified
2. Min 2 years' experience in a similar finance role
3. Good Excel skills
4. Sage 50 Accounts experience
